New ship for Navy: India Navy got a new big ship called INS Mahendragiri. It is the 6th ship of its kind. A Mumbai company Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) made it. This is very good because we are making our own warships now.
Missile test pass: DRDO and Navy people tested a small missile from a helicopter near Odisha. They fired two at once and it worked perfectly. It is for hitting enemy ships.
NCB did a very big raid in Mumbai and found around 349 kg cocaine. It is worth 1,745 crore rupees.
In April 2026 India collected a lot of GST tax money more than 2.42 lakh crore rupees. This is the highest ever. Compared to last year, it went up by about 9%.
Gas cylinder price up: Big LPG cylinders for shops and hotels are now very expensive. The price increased by ₹933. Now in Delhi, one 19-kg cylinder costs ₹3,071.50. This is happening because of the war between US and Iran.
No stop at toll: On the Surat–Bharuch road, a new system started where cars don’t have to stop for toll tax. It uses cameras and FASTag to take money automatically while the car is moving.
Sikkim courts go digital: Sikkim has become the first state in India where all court work is done on computers. They don’t use paper anymore. This was announced at a big meeting in Gangtok.
